Teresita Johnson is the Executive Director and founder of Stella Maris Center which she founded in 2020. She is a marriage and family life minister spending 10+ years training marriage ministry teams as well as overseeing numerous marriage preparation programs for her diocese. She recently wrote Dearly Beloved: Launch a Lifetime of Love with Marriage Preparation to inspire and encourage engaged couples to fully embrace marriage education for a happy and holy marriage.
As far as her other professional work experience, Tere worked for a decade in the broadcast news industry starting in radio news, and then in the television news industry.
Tere’s formal training includes a Certificate in Marriage and Family Ministry from the Marriage and Family Institute, University of St. Thomas (CMF), a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies, from the University of St. Thomas, (MA PS), and a Bachelor of Arts, Radio/Television, Journalism minor, from the University of Houston.
