Our peer ministry  provides remarriage tools/resources needed for a successful remarriage in a retreat like setting to all couples we serve.

Vision:

• We believe the future depends on the couples relationship; Education is imperative and tools/resources crucial. Everyone deserves a supportive start on the re-marriage journey.

• Use a multi-disciplinary approach, to provide participants with activities to improve the couples relationship and prepare to blend families..
• Strive to increase awareness of our program activities and mentoring of facilitator couples in the field of remarriage preparation.
• Provide early intervention and quality education, to improve the outcome for a healthy couple relationship and blended family. 

New Life – a peer ministry program that helps couples prepare for a  “ New Life”  together by turning the unique challenges of remarriage into a redemptive joy-filled journey.

The story of us

We are a peer ministry of 6 remarried couples who have experienced death or divorce/ completed annulments, remarried, and blended families. The variety of blended families is unique and each family is at different life stages. The unique aspect of peer couples putting on the retreat teaching topics, sharing personal stories, providing various experiential activities, allowing participants to share, answer questions individually and together, holding small groups, helps them to understand the reality/complexity of blending families. It also lets couples know that the church cares about them and wants to help.  Topics such as  making peace with the past, identifying who you are, learning healthy communication/conflict resolution skills, remarriage finances, intimacy,  remarriage maintenance, God in your marriage, what the sacrament of marriage is and what the vows are, packs a powerful punch, in truly understanding what this means.
